I am a thirty-something single. I hail from Ontario originally but lived in Manitoba long enough to consider it home. It was the big sky that got me!
I've recently decided to move to Calgary and so that's where I am now, looking for work. I've had an interest in Christian education for awhile so perhaps that's where I'll end up, in some capacity.
I enjoy reading, salsa dancing, knitting and sewing, and writing letters - who doesn't love an actual piece of snail mail these days? I love to travel - airports are one of my favourite places to be and someday I would love to fly first class on something like Cathay Pacific. I like horseback riding, canoeing and camping and my favouring part of camping is building, tending and poking at the fire.
I was raised in a Christian home and ever since I was a young girl I knew that having a deep and meaningful relationship with God was possible and I always wanted one. I knew that there was more to life than my own desires and dreams. My whole life has been a quest to "lay hold of that for which Christ has laid hold of me" (Philippians 3:12). Not that I have always sought God diligently or never had doubts or anger or indifference. But I press on.
